So I don’t really like meatballs or meatloaf… BUT when Katie at Bower Power posted on her Instagram stories how this meatball recipe is always a GUARANTEED HIT with her 4 kiddos I had.to.try.it!
AND she didn’t lie, it was a huge hit!! As in my toddler who never eats meat, ate every single bit and between our family and a couple guests, there was none left in the pan. Plus it doesn’t use very many dishes so clean up is easy. I say win win!
So here ya go 🙂
Wait just kidding, a few pieces of advice:
– I put croutons in a blender to make breadcrumbs and they were way better than plain bread crumbs!
– I rolled 2 lbs meat into 24 meatballs to make them smaller & easier to eat 🙂
– And you could definitely double the recipe and freeze them for later
The key is the BROWN SUGAR!!! Yuuuuummy!!!!
And you could make a ton of these ahead of time, freeze individually on a cookie sheet and then transfer them to a freezer bag. Then just pull out however many you want to make, thaw, top with brown sugar and ketchup, bake and there ya go!
